How to Donate to Tree of Light
Is my donation tax deductible?
Tree of Light is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible. To claim a donation as a deduction, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We send one to your email address after a successful completion of a donation.

Online Donation Management
We are a verified non-profit with Givebutter and use their platform to run campaigns, manage events, host auctions and raffles, and provide membership signup.
OpenCollective
opencollective.com/treeoflight(opens in a new tab)OpenCollective is also available as a donation method and useful for larger donations, although it is not directly integrated into the Tree of Light website donation experience. OpenCollective has the lowest fees for large donations and is the platform we use for managing grants and partner projects.

Later this year we will release new donation forms for sustaining (monthly / annual) or direct CC donations that have zero additional fees — only the base processing fees. Until then, you can select Monthly or Yearly in our online donation forms.
